Why do garages always fuck you about?
I put my car in for a service and its MOT yesterday. Everything was fine apart from the rear breaks, which were pitted and worn and needed replacing. So I told them to replace them cos I've kind of got used to being able to stop when I want to. But my car is a Toyota and they didn't have the parts in stock, and neither did any of the local dealers. No problem, they said. We'll order the parts, keep the car in overnight, and fix it tomorrow. OK, I said.
So tomorrow is now today. And have they fixed it? No. Do they have the parts? No. Are they going to be able to get the parts today. Are they heck as like!!
They are promising that it'll be ready tomorrow. It better bloody be!
And, of course, this was the weekend I was going to go up to my Mum's. So I've had to cancel that!
