A/N: For the ARC Challenge - incorporating the words how last crab pate
"Connor!"
When Lester was unhappy his voice was penetrating. It easily reached the living room where Connor guessed that Lester had recently gone beyond unhappy.
Connor obeyed the summons to the kitchen.
"What is this?"
"It's a jar," Connor said.
"True, but more precisely it's an empty jar. Of what was Fortnum and Mason Crab Pate. Why?"
"It was half-empty. I thought you'd finished with it."
"I was saving it for later. Now, to be precise."
"Sorry."
"Just go away Connor."
Connor escaped pleased not to have to explain how he'd fed the last of it to Sid and Nancy.
