Q1: As a ten year old, what did you dream of being when you grew up?
I don't know. I either can't remember or I didn't dream of anything that's stuck. I don't think it would have been anything in the real world. I was deeply into Greek Mythology at the time so I probably had some vague fantasy about being a goddess or something. See - in a fantasy world already!
Q2: If you had to choose one volunteer group to support, what would it be?
This one is dead easy. The RNLI. I was born a mile from the sea and there were always collection boxes out and flag days for the RNLI. They receive no government funding, are mostly staffed by volunteers who put their lives at risk to save others. Big Damn Heroes. The real kind.
Q:3 Who is your favourite tv character from the 70's or 80's ... and why?
I think it would have to be Cally from Blake's7. She was tough, female and telepathic - everything I wanted to be when I was a teenager.
Q:4 Describe your favourite pair of shoes... and why they've reached that status?
I don't like shoes. You get your clothes wrong and you look like an idiot. You get your shoes wrong and you're in actual pain. I've bled from bad shoes. I'm almost phobic about it - I'll only shop for them when I absolutely have to. Favourite shoes almost doesn't compute. The ones I wear by choice are my sky blue, sparkly Nike trainers (see icon). Everything else is on sufferance.
Q:5 We all talk about OTP's. One True Pairing. From a fandom perspective, who is your OTP?
For the fandoms I'm active in:
Highlander - Duncan/Methos
Torchwood - Jack/Ianto (and this one surprised me by how much of a rabid shipper I became on this)
Doctor Who - Jack/Nine/Rose - can I have an OT3?
Primeval - Nick/Stephen
For other fandoms:
Stargate SG1 - Jack/Daniel - no other will do
Stargate Atlantis - Ronan/Shepherd
Sentinel - Jim/Blair
