Nick was a stubborn man, the kind who would grimly finish a tin of bad coffee because he had bought it. A man who would use thin and hopeless bin bag until the roll is empty rather than put the roll in the strong bin liner he's bought. A man who'd cling to the status of lonely widower long after his psychotic ex-wife had reappeared. A man who'd reject all normal overtures for romance because he didn't expect that someone would be interested in him.
Clearly drastic measures were going to be needed. Luckily, Ryan was well trained in those.
