Car-jacking

I've just put my car in for its service and MOT. It's a 7 year old Toyota Corolla. In all the times I've been responsible for MOTing it, it's never passed first time. It's never failed on anything major, but it always fails on *something*. As far as I'm concerned the garage kidnaps it and then demands ransom money. That's a given, but I'm considering starting a book on how long the hostage crisis is going to last.

Edit: Well, tickle my tits til Tuesday! It passed first time. I'm going to pick it up later this afternoon. Colour me gobsmacked!
