OK 8/10 on the Weirdness Scale this morning.

I woke up early and decided that the world could get light before I decided to get up. So I turned over and went back to sleep. Then I kind of woke up a bit and turned over on to my front. Then I'm awake, but I can't move - this is odd - I know exactly where I am and what's around me, but I can't so much as twitch a finger. And just to add to the fun, I have the sensation that something (imp/demon) is sitting on my back. Luckily I've been here before - it's sleep paralysis, but I haven't had an episode of it in about 8 years. I phased in and out of it for a few minutes before deciding that I'd had enough and turned over in one of my true wakefulness sessions.

Even though I've had it before and know what's going on it's still a creepy thing to happen. Especially with my little imaginary companion. So I have a lot of sympathy for people who have this, have no idea what's happening and have little aliens as their 'visitors'. Who knows, if my subconscious wasn't fixated on religious imagery I might have a little alien of my own to come and paralyze me.
