Grooaannn!!!

I think I hate computers. Tried to log on the internet this morning - no dice from pc or from laptop. OK, trog downstairs, reset the cable modem and the wireless router and try again. Laptop is happy, pc isn't! So work is fine, but not the personal stuff that keeps me sane! So - hours of resetting modems and routers, much typing of ipconfig/release and ipconfig/renew and then neither computer can connect to the internet. That was lunchtime. It took til 3 to check connections and cables and now I'm back with my old wired router - which works, but it means I'm back to having cables everywhere again. And it looks like my wireless router is up the spout, but I'm going to wait til the weekend to do some serious testing on that. Boo Hiss!!

Oh well, at least I managed it eventually.

Remind me why I like computers again? I keep forgetting.
